Diba - the brand

Diba the brand was started in St. Louis, Missouri in 1990 by a Mr Joseph Butrus. He started selling his fashionable shoes in North America and has since expanded into Europe. Today thanks to international design teams the Diba brand is able to continuously release the latest footwear so they can catch the latest trends. The style in Diba Shoes is subtle but unmistakable, you can see they clearly have good designers in their team.

The name Diba was thought of due to the influences that go into to creating the footwear for the brand. D is for Dutch because the shoes are inspired by the Bronx shoes designer Frits Dijkmans whose family has been in the shoe business in Holland for over 100 years. I is for Italy, this is due to the Italian development that the shoes go through using materials and shapes influenced by Italy.

The B is for Brazil. The shoes are manufactured in Brazil using the finest leathers. The design team work closely with the manufactures to maintain high standards of craftsmanship. A is for America, the Diba headquarters in St. Louis is where the ingenuity for the fashionable footwear comes to life and this is brought to American women.
